Meet Leah

Leah was about 7 months old. She was rescued when she was only 1 month old along with her siblings and mom. We noticed that out of all the babies, she was the only one walking a little wobbly. We took her to the vet but they told us that her condition could be from birth. They didn’t think too much of it because she was running around and playing all the time. Unfortunately, one day she stopped walking and now she drags her back legs and uses the bathroom just anywhere on herself. We have been cleaning her multiple times daily. She’s also wearing diapers now. We brought her back to the vet and they told us that it was nerve damage to her spinal cord. Most likely, she will never be able to walk again. They gave us asteroids to see if it would help but so far, there hasn’t been any improvements. We message her legs as well to see if that can help but we haven’t seen any results. We are trying to buy a wheelchair for Lea so she can go back to walking and playing around. She passed but she was very happy and loved despite of her special needs.
